Monday: Gynecology to clarify how contraceptive methods differ from the abortion pill

Missouri Legislature must reach an agreement to accept major Medicaid funding from the federal government, but Republican lawmakers are not on the same side.

The fight revolves around birth control. Some GOP lawmakers want to ban the coverage of certain contraceptive methods, including the Pill Plan B and intrauterine devices or IUDs.

on Monday St. Louis in the air, we’re going to look at the different methods of contraception available today and how they work. We’ll also discuss what makes it different from the abortion pill, the common name for the use of two different drugs to end a pregnancy: mifepristone and misoprostol.
